The successful participants in the second round of Greece’s auction for financial support of large-scale BESS have been revealed.

Bulgaria is launching a public consultation into a grant auction scheme for renewable energy and up to 350MW of energy storage facilities.

A test and demonstration facility operated by South Africa’s main utility Eskom will trial Primus Power’s flow batteries, after a local developer was awarded a grant for the project by the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA).
