The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has confirmed that 244 community battery energy storage systems (BESS) are now connected to the country’s distribution networks.

Hungarian distribution system operator (DSO) Opus Titasz has commissioned and put into operation four BESS projects.

Infrastructure and engineering firm Black & Veatch and power conversion system maker Dynapower have signed an agreement to collaborate on energy storage, with a focus on grid-scale technologies.
