Trina Storage has completed the delivery of a 1.7GWh energy storage project in the Asia-Pacific region, marking the largest overseas shipment in the company’s history and underscoring its growing strength in executing large-scale, cross-regional projects.
The project is powered by the Elementa 2 energy storage system, featuring proprietary battery cells and AI-enabled biomimetic liquid cooling technology. By maintaining cell-level temperature variation within 2.5°C, the system enables stable operation across a wide ambient temperature range of –30°C to 55°C, ensuring reliable performance under high-temperature and high-load operating conditions. This precise thermal management is critical to enhancing system safety, extending lifecycle performance, and supporting long-term operation in large-scale projects.
Beyond the project scale, the delivery highlights Trina Storage’s ability to manage complex logistics, regional compliance requirements and on-site integration across international markets. The solution with the Elementa series continues to demonstrate strong adaptability across diverse grid conditions and application scenarios, offering a scalable, repeatable and bankable solution for utility-scale energy storage worldwide.
The company has built a comprehensive global service network to support customers worldwide, currently operating 23 service centers across more than 180 countries and regions, delivering localized, end-to-end support throughout the full project lifecycle to ensure compliant and efficient execution.
