Hoymiles has officially unveiled its first all-in-one Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), HiOne, the launch event bringing together PV industry experts, media and strategic partners to witness a new era of “slimmer, stronger, faster” home energy independence and culminating with a formal signing ceremony with leading European distributors.
The HiOne BESS integrates inverter, battery and EMS into one seamless, minimalist system, enabling a true whole-home backup and ensuring that the entire household remains powered during grid outages. By integrating premium 314Ah battery cells and an advanced cell-level data monitoring system, the product ensures maximum safety and an impressive 8000+ life cycle lifespan. Coupled with the S-Miles Cloud monitoring platform, homeowners gain total transparency and control over their energy ecosystem.
Hoymiles has solved the issues of battery compatibility which frequently exist in home energy storage. Through built-in DC-DC and automatic SOC balancing, HiOne allows users to freely mix new and old batteries, enabling effortless capacity expansion or faulty pack replacement at any time. The system supports up to 8 packs per inverter for a maximum parallel capacity of 64 kWh.
The system features 0ms backup switching, providing a transition so seamless that even heavy inductive loads, including air conditioners and washing machines, continue to operate during a blackout.
To maximize savings from a time-of-use tariff, Hoymiles incorporates the advanced AI-TOU functionality into HiOne, allowing for up to 8 customizable time segments. By dynamically learning electricity price patterns, user consumption habits and renewable energy forecasts, the system automatically schedules charging and discharging strategies, increasing self-consumption and maximizing bill savings.
All wiring is neatly concealed behind a sleek side grille, ensuring a clean, furniture-grade aesthetic and a solution that takes up 20% less site room and 50% less wall space than conventional setups, making it ideal for space-limited urban homes.
During his opening speech at the launch event, Hoymiles VP Guy Rong emphasized that the HiOne marks a cornerstone of the company’s long-term commitment to providing high-performance energy solutions, commenting: “Our goal is to bridge the gap between complex engineering and everyday home life, creating a solution that is not only high-performing but truly ‘designed to belong’ in a modern household.”

Reinforcing this vision, Jonathan Gorremans from SolarPower Europe (SPE) presented a comprehensive analysis of the European residential solar and storage landscape, adding: “Europe is at a pivotal point in its energy transition, where the challenge is no longer just about generating power, but managing it intelligently.”
Among other speakers, TÜV Rheinland’s Antonio Testa shared the rigorous testing and safety standards for residential storage, confirming that HiOne meets the stringent safety expectations of the European market.
The event concluded with a strategic partnership signing ceremony with Hoymiles’ leading European distributors, marking a successful debut for the new product’s application across the continent, with VDH Solar CEO Miranda Nouwen commenting: “Hoymiles has made a nice product. HiOne is safe, thin and has very high quality. We are the top home battery wholesaler in the Netherlands, so this is why we partner with Hoymiles.”
