The industry’s premier celebration of excellence, innovation and hard work returns this autumn, at the Energy Storage Awards 2026.
Running annually since 2023, the awards welcome the shining lights that lead the industry in Europe and beyond to a glittering evening ceremony in London, hosted by our publisher Solar Media (part of the Informa Group).
Having already received many enquiries from interested parties since the last edition in November 2025, it’s our great pleasure to announce that the nomination window is now open via the official event website.
With trophies up for grabs in 21 separate categories—including some new additions—this year’s awards will reflect the industry’s efforts and achievements better than ever before.

Along with all the returning categories you’ll be expecting to see once again, we’re excited that the categories for Product of the Year have been broken out to include separate awards for:
- BESS Solution of the Year
- Balance of Plant / Hardware Product of the Year
- Software Product of the Year
- Safety Product of the Year
It’ll be exciting to see if previous serial winners such as Fluence, Zenobe and Energy Dome can continue their hot streaks!
Elsewhere, we ran the first-ever Diversity & Inclusion Award in 2025. The deserving winner was Women in Energy Storage Network (WinES), and we look forward to seeing another one this November. Just as we aim for the awards to reflect the industry we all want to see, the industry must reflect society at its best.
