Inverter and BESS firm Sungrow and BESS owner-operator Delta Capacity signed a 1GWh framework supply agreement for European projects at the Energy Storage Summit 2026 in London last week.
The agreement is for Sungrow’s PowerTitan 2.0 battery energy storage system (BESS) product, and will go towards projects planned for delivery and deployment by Delta within 2026.
Delta Capacity is developing and acquiring projects across Europe with a focus on Scandinavia, Germany, Southern and Central Europe. The firm has 800MWh under construction, including what it said is Sweden’s largest project, and is targeting 6GWh by 2030.
Patrik Hes, Founder and CEO of Delta Capacity (pictured right), said: “Our ambition is to build one of Europe’s highest-quality BESS portfolios spanning several markets and to hold these assets long term. That means we place a premium on robust design, efficiency and reliability, and on partners who can deliver at scale.”
