Trina Storage’s second ‘super factory’ has officially commenced operations, the  milestone marking another key step in the company’s “Cell-to-AC” integrated production ecosystem and evidencing steady progress toward achieving its 2025 delivery target of 8–10 GWh.

This facility, covering more than 14,000 m², brings the company’s total product capacity to 25 GWh and enables mass production of next-generation energy storage systems and 314Ah battery cells, including some of the industry’s first large-capacity cells, supporting the sustainable development of reserve projects exceeding 70 GWh.

In response to surging market demand, Trina Storage has taken the lead in upgrading its high-quality production capacity, driving industry transformation through enhanced intelligent integration and coordinated AC-DC synergy. In addition to its manufacturing facilities, the company has also established localized integration centres in China, Europe and North America, to deliver comprehensive lifecycle services to clients worldwide.

The company’s first super factory has recently undergone a comprehensive upgrade, achieving fully automated production from cell manufacturing to container integration, boosting overall efficiency by over 50%. An industrial IoT platform now integrates ERP and MES systems, establishing a comprehensive “human-machine-system” intelligent management framework.

The company recently secured a total of 2.48 GWh in energy storage orders from  China, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region. In North America, cumulative shipments reached 1 GWh in the first half of the year, marking Trina Storage’s entry into the GWh-scale delivery era and further extending its global footprint across six continents.
