JinkoSolar has announced the signing of a contract with Sunrev New Energy to supply 1 GWh of its second-generation SunTera liquid cooled energy storage system.
SunTera offers one of the largest unit capacities, with 5MWh of power enclosed in a 20-foot containerized ESS making it one of the most powerful LFP battery-based energy storage systems on the market. The system also provides the most efficient charging/discharging rates of up to 94% at system level.
With safety a major priority, Jinko’s unique liquid cooled system maintains the smallest temperature difference between cells, controlled within 2 degrees Celsius, since temperature non-uniformity is a primary factor in performance loss, reduced lifecycle and, more critically, fire hazards. Aided by AI computing, integrated monitoring sensors, advanced software, cloud-based interconnectivity and remote control, SunTera also leads the industry in smart O&M.
The company currently operates a fully automated, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with an annual capacity of 12 GWh and is committed to delivering high-quality, scalable energy storage solutions globally, advancing the adoption of clean energy.
