Jinko ESS has delivered an energy storage project for a college in Australia, supporting smarter, more cost-effective and efficient energy use across the education sector. It replaces an aging lead-acid battery system installed in 2016 and is designed to support daily demand management, enhance power reliability and reduce the school’s operational electricity costs. The project, upgrading the school’s old system to the new-generation SunGiga energy storage solution, improving overall reliability and operational efficiency while allowing for future scalability, was delivered and commissioned by Jinko ESS’s local Australia team, providing strong on-site support and ensuring reliable project execution and ongoing service.
As campus energy demand grows, additional SunGiga units can be seamlessly integrated to expand system capacity, the flexible and forward-looking design providing a long-term energy solution that adapts to evolving campus requirements without the need for significant infrastructure upgrades.
The system, commissioned in late January, has already begun delivering measurable savings on the school’s electricity bills.
