Jinko ESS has delivered 15 sets of its SunGiga 261kWh liquid-cooled energy storage system for a chemical plant in Haining City, China’s Zhejiang Province. The systems, with a total capacity of some 3.9MWh, will be used for power regulation and peak-valley arbitrage within the plant’s production park, aiming to provide more stable and economical electricity support for its continuous, energy-intensive operations and enabling the business to achieve sustainable energy cost optimization while maintaining production safety.

Chemical production places extremely high demands on power supply continuity and operational safety. The SunGiga system, with its multi-level safety architecture and intelligent monitoring from  cell to system level, provides reliable power assurance in complex industrial environments, its integrated design not only adapting to the spatial layout within a plant, but also effectively mitigating production load fluctuations through intelligent dispatch, offering crucial support for a business’ refined energy management while ensuring power usage safety.

Jinko ESS China GM Damon Duan commented: “For continuous production industries like chemicals, the core of energy management lies in reliability and stability. This delivery in Haining represents a practical exploration, together with our industrial customer, of safe and economical electricity solutions. Jinko ESS will continue to focus on the actual needs of different industrial scenarios, committed to providing more practical and stable energy storage products that help customers achieve long-term energy benefits.”
