Jinko ESS has announced the signing of a framework cooperation agreement with Shaanxi Yihe Green Power New Energy, to cover collaboration over the next two years in areas including energy storage project development, equipment procurement and technical synergy, targeting a cooperation scale of 3GWh.
Jinko will provide its SunTera G3 6.25MWh battery energy storage system as part of the collaboration.
Yihe Green Power GM Liu Hao commented:“Yihe Green Power has established a nationwide footprint with a cumulative development of 1.28GW/5.12GWh in energy storage projects, building a robust system for project development and investment. We adopt a hybrid energy storage technology pathway that integrates vanadium redox flow and lithium iron phosphate batteries, fully leveraging the safety and flexible decoupling advantages of vanadium flow batteries for long-duration storage, alongside the rapid response capability of LFP batteries. This combination enables us to better meet grid demands and develop grid-friendly energy storage power stations. Jinko ESS’s outstanding technical specifications, system reliability and environmental adaptability align perfectly with our strategic objectives.”
Jinko ESS GM for China Damon Duan added: “The cooperation with Yihe Green Power marks a significant step in developing our presence in the domestic energy storage market and we will fully support our partner’s project development and deployment with our high-performance, highly reliable energy storage products and system solutions. Together, we are committed to advancing the large-scale application of energy storage and contributing to the construction of a new power system and the achievement of the ‘Dual Carbon’ goals.”
