HyperStrong has announced the completion of mass production and on-site delivery of HyperBlock M, its latest modular utility-scale energy storage system developed on the company’s innovative MagicBlock product platform. As a benchmark for modular product innovation, the system is designed with a focus on modularity, flexibility and economic efficiency, providing a transformative solution for the large-scale deployment and high-efficiency operation of global energy storage projects.
As the industry’s first modular product to achieve large-scale commercial application, HyperBlock M addresses a number of critical challenges, including logistics inefficiencies, site constraints, high O&M costs and difficulties associated with capacity expansion. Before this rollout, the system successfully completed comprehensive testing and obtained key certifications, including IEC 62933, IEC 62619 and CE, covering electrical and thermal safety, environmental adaptability and overall system stability, underscoring its industry-leading performance.
HyperBlock M features a breakthrough open architecture that optimizes the traditional 20-foot container into standardized 10-foot units. This strategic design shift significantly enhances transportation and deployment efficiency, particularly in regions with restricted logistics conditions. Beyond its physical form, HyperBlock M integrates a 400kW PCS and an advanced real-time monitoring system, allowing for precise tracking of charge-discharge capacity, operational efficiency and battery health to guarantee stability throughout the project lifecycle.
To further maximize economic returns and operational efficiency, the system adopts advanced 24/7 full-condition active balancing technology and intelligent thermal management optimization algorithms. These innovations result in a more than 3.5% increase in available energy over the system’s lifecycle and a 10% reduction in overall energy consumption.
