In an update to an online article we ran a while back, Energy-Storage.News editor Andy Colthorpe and Solar Media group head of content John Parnell pulled together a list of 10 of the most noteworthy system integrators – providers of system design, engineering and execution – working with utility-scale, front-of-the-meter energy storage solutions.
The list includes (in no particular order) S&C Electric, Renewable Energy Systems Group (RES), Nidec, Siemens, Greensmith, NextEra Energy Resources, AES, Younicos, NEC Energy Solutions, and LG CNS. While it isn’t a scientifically-selected group, these system integrators were selected on the basis of criteria such as executing known ‘firsts’ and milestones within the industry, for delivering large volumes of projects, for being known for specific areas of technical expertise and for the scale of their ambitions as well as work executed to date.
